2027 Membership Info

As of January 1, 2027, FiftyNorth will be “FiftyNorth at the Y,” and will legally become part of the Northfield Area Family YMCA.

Hooray!

The FiftyNorth programming you love will continue right here in the NCRC building.

BUT… if you are a current 2026 FiftyNorth member, and 50 or older, you MUST register for a new 2027 membership by December 15, 2026.

Your new membership will be a YMCA membership, and will provide access to BOTH FiftyNorth and the current Northfield YMCA.

All current FiftyNorth memberships will end December 31, 2026. 

Your 2027 MEMBERSHIP WILL BE DISCOUNTED BY 40% For 4 MONTHS

Your new 2027 membership will discounted by 40% January-April. You must be a 2026 (current) FiftyNorth member to take advantage of this savings.

For those 50+, your new YMCA membership will include access to both sites, all fitness facilities, both pools, walking track, and most group exercise classes. Most community programs, clubs, and social activities at FiftyNorth will also be included. We will charge an additional affordable fee for special programs, events, or trips.

• Access to the YMCA 360 app with on-demand videos

• Access to YMCAs across the country when you’re travelling or snowbirding

2027 MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS

• 1 Senior (ages 62+)

$28 for first 4 months, $47 per month thereafter*

• 2 Senior Household (ages 62+)

$56 for first 4 months, $84 per month thereafter*

• 1 Adult (ages 27-61)

$28 for first 4 months, $60 per month thereafter*

• 1-2 Adult Household (ages 27-61)

$56 per month for first 4 months, $91 per month thereafter*

• 3 Adult Household (ages 27-61)

$69 per month for first 4 months, $114 per month thereafter* (additional adults may be added for $30 per month)

The Northfield YMCA and FiftyNorth at the Y are committed to access and affordability. The Y Membership for All program provides financial assistance for membership and program fees based on financial need, or life circumstances. We want everyone to thrive at the Y.

FiftyNorth Social Club For 50+

For those who simply want to connect and participate in lobby time, coffee, clubs, or cards we’re offering a FiftyNorth Social Club option for 2027.

FiftyNorth will no longer collect additional fees for social amenities and activities like coffee, cards, or clubs.

Instead, your Membership or Social Club fee will cover these activities. The Social Club option does not include fitness facilities, pool, classes, community programs, events or trips. Opt for a membership, instead of the Social Club, if you want to access those offerings.

Payment

You’ll have a couple options for paying fees:

• Out of pocket– you can pay monthly through automatic bank account or credit card drafts, or annually in advance

• Insurance reimbursement– The Y works with several insurance plans that offer reimbursements through NIHCA Rewards. Additionally, the Y offers insurance-based memberships through Renew/Active/OnePass and Silver & Fit.

We’re offering Registration Clinics for current FiftyNorth Members on the following dates. Come in to the FiftyNorth lobby, explore your options, and get in-person help registering for your Membership or the FiftyNorth Social Club:

• October 28, 8am-12pm

• November 4, 8am-12pm

• November 18, 8am-12pm

Our team will happily answer your additional membership questions during the Registration Clinics, and information is available in our lobby.
